Relais d'Amboise

Relais d'Amboise is a five-star hotel on the banks of the Loire in Amboise, formed by joining two of the town's historic residences, Le Choiseul and Le Manoir des Minimes, into a single riverside estate directly beneath the Royal Chateau of Amboise and a short walk from Clos Luce, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final years. The property holds 63 rooms and suites across several historic buildings, with architecture by LBBA, interiors by Fabien Roque of Roque Interieurs and artistic direction by Josephine Fossey. Dining runs through Le Choiseul restaurant and Le Turner bar, and a wellness center is carved directly into the tuffeau limestone with a heated outdoor pool, sauna, cold bath, sensory shower, steam room and a yoga platform. The estate's restored troglodyte galleries, known as Les Greniers de Cesar, hold exhibitions, an interactive leisure space and a wine tasting cellar. It is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, backed by Frederic Jousset through the cultural heritage investment fund Artnova and operated by Marugal Hotel Management.
