Official WebsiteSentryWorld opened as Wisconsin's first destination golf course, a Robert Trent Jones II design in Stevens Point best known for the Flower Hole, a par 3 ringed by tens of thousands of blooms that has become one of American golf's most photographed one-shotters. The renovation is led by Jay Blasi of Jay Blasi Design, a Wisconsin native who worked under Jones on the original and collaborated on the course's award-winning earlier reworking, giving him unusual continuity with the property's design DNA. The scope runs deep rather than cosmetic: select green complexes are redesigned, tee complexes reconfigured, and a full bunker renovation carried out, alongside a state-of-the-art irrigation system and new sustainability infrastructure beneath the turf. Practice facilities are enhanced and privacy barriers go in along Interstate 39 to seal the golf experience off from the highway edge. LaBar Golf, a contractor with a track record on USGA championship venues, makes its Wisconsin debut as golf and irrigation contractor. The wider SentryWorld campus, with The Inn at SentryWorld, the PJ's and Muse restaurants, banquet spaces and the fieldhouse, continues operating throughout, keeping the resort alive while the golf course goes dark.
