Six Senses Grand Bahama is a planned luxury resort and branded residence community on a 50-acre oceanfront site at Barbary Beach, east of Freeport on Grand Bahama Island in The Bahamas. Developed by Weller Development Partners with Pegasus Capital Advisors and operated by Six Senses, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, the roughly $250 million project is the brand's second Caribbean destination. Its master plan sets about 70 resort villas and 28 Six Senses branded residences between the Atlantic shoreline and the Grand Lucayan Waterway, with canalside homes offering private boat slips and beachfront homes opening directly to the sand. Amenities center on a Six Senses Spa, several restaurants, a beach club, a jetty bar, event spaces and a large oceanfront pool, all shaped by a regenerative design approach focused on sustainability, resilience and wellness. The resort is expected to create around 400 construction jobs and 200 permanent positions on Grand Bahama.
