Six Senses Myoko is a wellness-led alpine resort and branded-residence community set at the foothills of Mount Myoko within the snow-blessed Suginohara ski terrain of Niigata Prefecture, roughly a two-hour train ride from Tokyo. Designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates and Kume Sekkei under a "Golden Wind" concept that evokes sunlight and wind moving across terraced rice fields, the property pairs 57 guestrooms and suites with 21 upper-floor branded residences, many featuring private onsen drawn from the region's natural hot springs. A clustered spa anchors the experience with eight treatment rooms, hydrotherapy circuits, and bookable private onsens overseen by resident and visiting wellness practitioners, complemented by two restaurants and bars, a ski boutique, and a curated program of seasonal nature, culture, and art experiences spanning powder winters and verdant summers.
