Sobha Siniya Island
Sobha Siniya Island turns a largely untouched barrier island off Umm Al Quwain into one of the northern emirates' most ambitious luxury addresses.
Official WebsiteTargeting 2030.
Developed by Sobha Realty in a joint venture with Umm Al Quwain Properties, the government's real estate arm, the master plan spans roughly 23 million square feet and is reached from the mainland by a 1.7-kilometre bridge. More than 60 percent of the island is reserved for waterways, beaches, mangroves and green space, with the built program laid out as a coastal community of waterfront apartments, duplexes, villas and beachfront mansions around a marina, a yacht club and resort-grade wellness and leisure amenities. Its hospitality anchor is Anantara Siniya Island Resort, the Minor Hotels brand's first property in Umm Al Quwain, planned with 125 keys alongside 125 branded homes marketed as Anantara Residences Sobha Siniya Island, with a design drawn from the island's mangroves, beaches and marine life. The island also carries deep history: archaeologists have excavated a pre-Islamic Christian monastery and the Gulf's oldest known pearling town on its shores.
