Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort occupies Val des Pitons, the valley that runs down to the water between Gros Piton and Petit Piton on Saint Lucia's southwestern coast, inside the UNESCO-listed Pitons Management Area. The 130-room resort is built across the grounds of a former sugar plantation, with rooms, cottages and villas stepped through rainforest above a white-sand beach. Accommodation runs from historic Sugar Mill rooms near the plantation core to hillside villas with private plunge pools and terraces framed on the peaks. The property also holds the Rainforest Spa, set in the trees above the resort, along with beachfront dining and a private residence known as Spice of Life.
