150 hotel keys. Completing November 2026.
Its 150 rooms look out over forest or the channel and carry handcrafted pieces by Chilean artisans. Public spaces include the Latitude 55 restaurant with Chilean and Patagonian menus, Bar Sur, the Fireplace Lounge and the Uncharted boutique. The hotel operates October to March as the overnight stop for Silversea's Antarctica Fly Cruise guests, who arrive on Silversea charter flights from Santiago and fly on to Antarctica to board ship, skipping the Drake Passage. Expedition staff lead kayaking on the Beagle Channel, hikes on Navarino Island and horseback outings. The name honors Lakutaia, the Yaghan word for cormorant.
