About the project

The Dynasty is a planned 159-acre sports-tourism and entertainment destination in Ocoee, Florida, sited at Ocoee-Apopka Road and Fullers Cross Road near State Road 429 in west Orange County, a short drive from Orlando's theme parks. Proposed by Montierre Development with MDTL Enterprise, the roughly $1 billion campus is built around youth and amateur travel-sports tournaments, with 17 multipurpose turf fields and a 150,000-square-foot indoor sports facility hosting football, soccer, baseball, softball, cheerleading, gymnastics, wrestling, field hockey and dance. A pedestrian riverwalk links about 350,000 square feet of restaurants, retail and entertainment venues open to the public, anchored by two hotels with more than 1,100 rooms combined, while concert space, interactive attractions and play zones extend its draw beyond game days. The city approved the planned unit development rezoning for the site, though the project has been slowed by lender and contractor litigation against its developer.
