The Harriman, a Viceroy Resort

The Harriman brings Viceroy's contemporary luxury to the Sun Valley area for the first time, on the corner of Main and River streets at the gateway to downtown Ketchum. The resort pairs 73 guestrooms with 12 single-level penthouse residences, all framing views of Idaho's Sawtooth and Pioneer ranges, above a 5,000-square-foot spa with six treatment rooms, an indoor thermal pool, cold plunge, sauna and steam. A rooftop observatory and terrace bar open onto the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve — one of only a handful of such preserves in the world — while a ski concierge, café, restaurant and event spaces anchor a true year-round mountain retreat. The property takes its name from W. Averell Harriman, the Union Pacific chairman who founded Sun Valley Resort.
