The Peninsula of Charleston is a proposed luxury Life Plan Community (CCRC) on historic King Street in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, billed as the area's first and only luxury planned retirement community with an ownership model. Scheduled to open in 2028, the community will offer more than 140 condominiums that residents own outright — able to sell, bequeath, or borrow against the equity, a structure rarely found in senior living.
