The Peninsula of Charleston is a luxury Life Plan Community rising at 609 King Street on upper King Street in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, developed by Liberty Senior Living with Evening Post Industries and designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. The seven-storey building will hold more than 140 condominium residences for residents 62 and older, ranging from compact homes to expansive multi-bedroom residences, under an ownership model rarely found in senior living: residents own their homes outright and can sell them, pass them to heirs or borrow against the equity.
