The Pinnacle is a US$450-million four-tower development by LCH Developments on the Reading Peninsula west of Montego Bay, the largest private residential undertaking on Jamaica's north coast. Its first tower, Swallowtail, rises 28 storeys and stands as the tallest building in Jamaica, holding 141 of the scheme's 417 branded residences. Alongside the apartments the masterplan carries a 240-room hotel operated through a partnership with Accor's Ennismore division, twelve private villas, a shopping centre, a residents' club and spa, a marina and sports facilities. Residences are fitted with hurricane-resistant floor-to-ceiling glazing and deep balconies oriented to the trade winds and the bay.
