About the project

The Residences at Port Marseillan bring The Luxury Collection's first branded residences in France to a 15-acre waterfront site on the Thau Lagoon, the vast salt-water étang in Languedoc famed for its oyster beds and its sheltered horizon of low hills and vineyards. The scheme pairs a 72-room resort hotel with 189 branded residences arranged as lagoon-front villas, villas with private pools, garden suites, apartments and penthouses, giving buyers a range that runs from lock-and-leave pied-à-terre to full waterfront house. Architecture and landscape take their cues from the surrounding Occitanie vernacular, with low massing, shaded terraces and planting drawn from the region's maritime-Mediterranean palette, so the resort reads as an extension of the old fishing port rather than a resort compound dropped beside it. Nine distinct culinary venues anchor the hospitality programme, among them an oyster and sashimi bar drawing on the lagoon's celebrated shellfish, a signature gastronomic restaurant, a French café and a vineyard terrace bar. Residents share the hotel's wellness and leisure amenities alongside the marina setting of Port Marseillan, a working pleasure harbour on the Canal du Midi's Mediterranean approach. The project marks the fourth Luxury Collection property in France and positions this quiet corner of the Hérault coast, long overshadowed by the Côte d'Azur, as a credible address for internationally branded luxury.
