Official WebsiteThe Standard, Lisbon brings the design-forward hospitality brand to Portugal inside the Palacio Santa Clara, a 19th-century former Royal Navy Hospital perched above the Alfama district with sweeping views over the Tagus River. Developed by Stone Capital's Ecoarea and operated under Hyatt, the conversion pairs roughly 170 guest rooms with long-stay branded apartments, layering rooftop terraces, a pool, a spa and landscaped gardens into the restored historic landmark. Creative direction by Jaime Hayon and Verena Haller, with architecture by Samuel Torres de Carvalho, gives The Standard's Lisbon debut a bold, art-filled identity anchored in one of the city's most storied neighborhoods.
