Uga Ghiri

Uga Ghiri is the eighth property from boutique Sri Lankan group Uga Resorts, an all-inclusive 15-villa retreat opening in July 2026 on the historic Sutherland Estate across 10 acres of terraced hillside in Ella, overlooking tea plantations, rolling hills and the Nine Arch Bridge. A restored colonial-era manor serves as the main house, with the dining set in its indoor-outdoor restaurant and bar drawing on Sri Lankan and international flavors. The 15 standalone villas each span 1,200 square feet, with a private hot tub and outdoor deck, alongside a 49-foot infinity pool, a pool bar and a spa rooted in Balinese wellness traditions with two treatment rooms, a sauna and a steam room.
