About the project

Velara Resort & Residences introduces Costa Rica's first biologically-optimized resort — a 17-acre development along the remote coastline of Playa Azul in Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula Blue Zone. The only high-rise residential property permitted in the region. Features 44 ocean-view condominiums (including four penthouses), 32 standalone villas, and a 52-key resort. The on-site Raíz Wellbeing Center spans 25,000 square feet with advanced diagnostics, regenerative therapies, biometric optimization, recovery treatments, sleep-enhancing environments, and guided health programs. Each residence connects to Velara's harmonization platform integrating wearable data and environmental sensors. Two culinary concepts built around nutritional optimization, plus Marea Beach Club with direct Pacific access. Phase 1 (residences + resort) completes Q2 2026; final delivery early 2027.
