W Cleveland at Erieview Tower

W Cleveland at Erieview Tower is a roughly $218 million adaptive-reuse redevelopment of downtown Cleveland's 40-story Erieview Tower and the adjoining Galleria at 1301 East 9th Street, converting the landmark modernist office slab into Ohio's first W hotel alongside 215 W-branded rental residences, the first W apartments offered exclusively for rent. Led by ErieView Development with TurnDev, with Beyer Blinder Belle and Berardi + Partners on the design team and Rockwell Group, the studio behind the original W in New York, shaping the interiors, the scheme pairs a 210-key hotel with a signature restaurant and bar on the 38th floor, a 15,000-square-foot ballroom, spa, fitness center, lobby lounge and 24-hour concierge. Class A offices fill floors 29 through 38, the Galleria at Erieview keeps its ground-level food court, and a subterranean garage holds more than 450 spaces, reviving a National Register-listed tower in the heart of downtown Cleveland.
