The Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country is an ultra-luxury resort and branded-residence community set on 106 acres less than a mile from downtown Fredericksburg, Texas, and the first Waldorf Astoria in the state. Developed by Wine Country Hospitality Partners in the heart of Hill Country wine country, roughly 75 miles west of Austin and 65 miles northwest of San Antonio, the resort pairs a 60-key hotel with 42 multi-bedroom resort villas offered through a hotel rental program and 50 privately held Waldorf Astoria Residences. Architecture and interiors come from a team including Studio CABAN, FAB Studio, TIPLER Group, Paul Duesing Partners and landscape architect Studio Outside, who have organized the property around five food and beverage concepts, an 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, resort pools and event lawns framed by the limestone hills, live oaks and vineyards that define the region.
