World Trade Center Yerevan

One tower holds offices; the other combines a hotel, operated under a management agreement with Hyatt, and residences, and the two connect vertically and share amenities at three points. At up to 220 meters across 35 and 40 floors, the pair will be the tallest buildings in Yerevan's history. Raised above ground level, the towers free up 50 percent of the site for public space, including a new plaza that extends neighboring Diana Abgar Park in a nod to Yerevan's history as a garden city, plus a second public space at the base of the towers animated by retail and entertainment venues. The $470 million project is described as Armenia's largest public-private partnership, owned by Renshin (56 percent), the national postal operator Haypost (25 percent) and the Republic of Armenia (19 percent), with a cooperation memorandum signed with UK Export Finance for partial financing. The program also includes Class A offices, brand-name retail, and exhibition and event infrastructure tied to the World Trade Centers Association network. Demolition of the existing buildings has begun.
