Veteran Houston chef Claire Smith (Daily Review Cafe, Canopy, Alice Blue) took over the former Bistro Menil space at The Menil Collection with an all-day cafe. Architect Dillon Kyle reworked the room around a 30-foot bar made of seven marbles, with a patio facing the museum's grounds.
