  • Nude Miami Organic Grocer & Cafe plans its debut in Brickell

Nude Miami is bringing a new era of clean, ingredient-driven living to Brickell as the organic grocer prepares to open its flagship location at 1100 Brickell Bay Drive in early 2026. Positioned at the center of Miami’s booming wellness movement, the concept arrives with a clear mission: redefine how the city shops, eats, and prioritizes health. Founded by Charles Amine, Harry Miller, and Sebastian Lezcano, Nude Miami started as a response to what many Miamians have long wanted—a grocery experience built on uncompromising standards. Image of Nude Miami Organic Grocery & Cafe The 4,720-square-foot flagship delivers exactly that, combining organic groceries, better-for-you snacks, non-toxic essentials, and a tightly curated catalog of brands held to strict ingredient transparency. Every product is vetted to eliminate GMOs, artificial sweeteners, and seed oils, creating a space where shoppers can browse confidently and trust every label on the shelves. The store’s centerpiece is Miami’s first fully organic hot bar and prepared-foods program, serving a rotating menu made exclusively with whole ingredients and clean cooking fats. Grass-fed proteins, wild-caught seafood, nutrient-dense sides, and vibrant salads anchor a culinary offering built for Miamians who want both flavor and integrity in their everyday meals. Nude Miami also plans to spotlight rising CPG brands, partner with innovators across wellness and culture, and build a discovery-driven environment where the city’s next favorites can take shape. The founders are designing the flagship as a complete sensory reset—thoughtful lighting, curated music, intentional design—reflecting a vision to elevate the grocery store into something more experiential. With additional locations already in development, Nude Miami is quickly becoming a movement rather than a single store, extending its clean-living philosophy across the neighborhoods shaping the city’s future.

  • West Palm Beach to Art Basel Miami with Tropic Ocean Airways

West Palm Beach insiders have a new way to do Art Basel – by seaplane. Tropic Ocean Airways , a Florida-based seaplane airline, is making waves with direct flights from West Palm Beach’s exclusive private beach club, The Cove Club, straight to Miami Beach. Image of Tropic Ocean Airways at The Cove Club Tropic Ocean Airways now offers direct seaplane charters from The Cove Club —West Palm’s private beach club, located at Safe Harbor Rybovich Marina—to South Beach – perfect for Art Basel attendees looking to skip the gridlock.  Image of Tropic Ocean Airways Instead of driving 80+ miles or juggling train and Uber connections, you and up to seven friends can charter a Tropic Ocean Cessna Grand Caravan seaplane for about $2,500 (roughly $300 per person when split among eight). You’ll depart from The Cove Club’s private waterfront oasis – Tropic passengers get complimentary day access to this members-only retreat with pool, bar, and dockside lounge – and land on the water on Miami’s Biscayne Bay at Watson Island’s seaplane base, just minutes from the Miami Beach Convention Center and South Beach. That means no causeway traffic and no airport hassles – just a scenic flight and a splash-down arrival practically in the heart of Art Basel. It’s the ultimate “rockstar entrance” to Miami Art Week, turning a normally tedious commute into part of the fun. Image of Tropic Ocean Airways Tropic Ocean Airways also offers direct flights to the Bahamas, with regular service by the seat to Bimini. Bimini is only a 25-minute flight from South Florida on Tropic’s amphibious caravans. The airline runs scheduled shared charters (bookable by the seat), so you don’t need to rent the whole plane to island-hop. For just $400 (+ tax) per seat, travelers can hop on a Tropic seaplane from Fort Lauderdale and be sipping a cocktail in Bimini in the time it takes to watch a TV episode. Even better, Tropic’s flights land directly on North Bimini, right next to Resorts World Bimini and the island’s best attractions. Image of Little Palm Island For the ultimate luxury escape, Tropic Ocean Airways also operates as an official seaplane partner to Little Palm Island Resort & Spa in the Florida Keys. Little Palm Island isn’t just any resort – it’s Florida’s only resort to earn Michelin’s prestigious Three-Key rating, and it’s the only private island resort in the entire United States. Image of Tropic Ocean Airways Tropic Ocean Airways recently announced a partnership with aerospace startup Tidal Flight to add 20 new hybrid-electric seaplanes to its fleet. These next-generation amphibious aircraft, called the Polaris, aim to significantly cut fuel use and noise, bringing a greener edge to Tropic’s operations by the end of the decade. In the words of Tropic’s CEO (a former U.S. Navy fighter pilot), the airline wants to “be a leader in sustainable aircraft and next-generation technology” as 2030 approaches. • Tacos del Cartel unveils its Florida takeover plans

Tacos del Cartel has officially arrived in West Palm Beach, bringing a bold, culture-first Mexican concept to South Florida as Veho Hospitality Group opens its first Florida outpost. Opening earlier this year on Clematis Street — Tacos del Cartel has built a loyal following across New Orleans, Metairie, and Baton Rouge, and has now expanded into a new market with the same core mission: serve Mexico as it is — no fusion, no shortcuts, no translation needed. Inspired by the carteles  that line streets across Mexico, the restaurant is built on authentic expression and real tradition. Its team, led by Veho Hospitality Group, is rapidly growing the portfolio with a Delray Beach location already set for 2026, alongside concepts such as Sushi By Us, Taquerías Carnalito, and Sexy Eleven. The menu leans all the way into craft and technique, starting with signatures like the Tendedero de Birria — slow-cooked beef with rich consommé presented on a miniature clothesline — and the Barbacoa de Short Rib, marinated and cooked until it falls apart. Every tortilla is nixtamalized and made in-house, every salsa is prepared fresh daily, and every plate reflects a commitment to doing things the right way. Weekend brunch keeps the momentum going. From 9 AM to 3 PM, Saturdays and Sundays deliver Mexican-style favorites, including Benedict Eggs topped with chipotle hollandaise and the crowd-pleasing Tres Leches French Toast layered with brioche, berries, bacon, and vanilla ice cream. Whether you’re in for the birria, the brunch, or the cocktails, Tacos del Cartel West Palm Beach brings the kind of energy that keeps people returning the next day. And with Delray Beach on deck for 2026, the brand’s Florida presence is just getting started.

  • Predalina transforms into Water Street’s next major nightlife spot

Water Street Tampa is about to feel different—brighter, louder, and unmistakably more alive at night—because Predalina is officially stepping back into the spotlight on December 9 with a complete creative reinvention. The modern Mediterranean restaurant from Oxford Commons, originally inspired by the owners’ great-grandmother and her coastal Greek heritage, has been rebuilt into a high-design, lounge-driven destination that finally matches the energy and momentum of the district around it. Image of Predalina, Penlight Media Predalina’s history has always been anchored in family and Tampa’s maritime roots. When the restaurant first opened in 2023, it was conceived as a tribute to Predalina herself—a woman whose journey from the Mediterranean to Tampa shaped the family’s hospitality legacy. Her influence guided everything from the seafood-forward flavors to the décor. With this reintroduction, Oxford has preserved that lineage while sharpening its identity into something more expressive, atmospheric, and aligned with Water Street’s accelerating evolution. The Oxford team closed the restaurant in late October to rebuild Predalina into something that felt more like them. What followed was a top-to-bottom reinvention led by Oxford Design Studio . The space now glows with Mediterranean glamour—hand-painted tilework, layered lighting, rich upholstery, dramatic drapery, aged brass accents, oversized olive trees, and statement artworks, including a custom mural of Predalina. The effect is immersive and textural, giving the 7,000-square-foot interior the warm, cinematic glow of a permanent golden hour. Outside, the 2,000-square-foot patio has been redesigned with large umbrellas and softer lighting, adding a true open-air extension to the experience. Image of Predalina, Penlight Media Central to the relaunch is the debut of Predalina After Dark , the restaurant’s new nighttime identity. As evening hits, the space shifts into Water Street’s next major nightlife environment: DJs, a gold disco ball, a painted dance floor, and two cocktail lounges with plush seating that turn dinner into a full evening out. Even the former private events room has been transformed into a cocktail lounge built to meet Water Street’s growing late-night crowd. It’s lively, theatrical, and built with intention—the district’s new evening heartbeat. The culinary direction evolves with the space, leaning deeper into modern Mediterranean flavors while embracing a more social, playful style. Highlights from the updated menu include Blue Crab Chitarra with citrus, chili oil, spring pea, and olive-oil breadcrumbs, the standout Fire Roasted Razor Clams served with urfa butter and rustic bread, and Charred Cauliflower finished with ladolemono, toasted hazelnut, mint, and lemon garlic tahini. Other favorites return in sharper form, such as Zucchini Chips with whipped feta and aleppo, Lamb Chops with lemon-garlic tahini and caper verde, and the Shaved Lamb Dip layered with caramelized onion, provolone, kefalograviera, herby aioli, and warm jus on a sesame baguette. Images of Predalina, Penlight Media For heartier plates, dishes like the Branzino with artichoke, sundried tomato, crispy Yukon potatoes, castelvetrano olives, and shaved fennel; Steak Frites with urfa butter and kalamata aioli; and the Predalina Burger with dijonnaise and crispy fries showcase the menu’s elevated yet approachable sensibility. Large-format offerings—including the Salt Crust Branzino with herb olive oil and caper verde, and the Rack of Lamb with salsa verde and charred lemon—anchor the menu with coastal drama. Predalina will reopen with dinner and weekend brunch first, with lunch following later in the season. The beverage program has also expanded with Mediterranean cocktails, coastal wines, spritzes, and tableside martinis designed for Predalina After Dark’s new energy.

  • Three-level Palm Springs-inspired hotspot unveiled in East Nashville

East Nashville is about to get a burst of Palm Springs nostalgia as Icon Entertainment & Hospitality prepares to open The Greenwood, a new multi-level bar and restaurant designed as a laid-back escape in the heart of the neighborhood. Opening mid-summer at 2105 Greenwood Avenue, the project brings three distinct experiences together under one roof, from intimate sunken lounges to an expansive rooftop overlooking the surrounding streets. Image of The Greenwood, Icon Entertainment & Hospitality The Greenwood sits right next to Icon’s popular Schulman’s and is designed to complement the neighborhood’s casual energy. The venue spans a 2,700-square-foot rooftop, two indoor lounge areas arranged around fireplaces, a full dining room, and a lower-level patio, with room for more than 300 guests throughout the building. Each area will feature its own menu style, with small plates and cocktails in the lounge spaces, full dining in the main room, and a flexible mix on the roof. Icon plans to use the versatility of the building to host events and bring new programming to the neighborhood, including the ability to activate the adjacent parking lot for special occasions. The design has been two years in the making, led by Jordan Miller—Icon’s executive vice president of construction and interior design—who sourced materials nationwide and worked with Nashville-based Powell to bring the Palm Springs aesthetic to life. The opening of The Greenwood marks a continued expansion for Icon Entertainment & Hospitality, one of Nashville’s most established hospitality groups with a portfolio spanning The Johnny Cash Museum, Schulman’s, Skull’s Rainbow Room, Sinatra Bar & Lounge, House of Cards, and more.

  • West Palm Beach and Nashville lead the nation in luxury home price growth

West Palm Beach and Nashville are now officially America’s No. 1 and No. 2 luxury-growth markets. New data from Redfin shows West Palm Beach up 187.3% over the past decade, reaching a median of $4.04 million as of October 2025, with Nashville close behind at 171%. Rendering of Vanderbilt West Palm Beach Nashville and West Palm Beach now share a new link, with a Vanderbilt campus coming to downtown West Palm Beach —a move that adds another layer of momentum to two cities already leading the nation in luxury-home price growth. With official renderings released in early 2025, and construction expected to begin by 2029 at the latest — The $520-million project will include a roughly 300,000-square-foot complex on seven acres, featuring a business school, computing and AI programs, and a state-of-the-art innovation hub designed to serve up to 1,000 graduate students and connect them with South Florida’s booming finance and tech industries. This decade-long surge is part of a broader Sun Belt reordering: eight of the ten fastest-growing luxury markets since 2015 are in southern metros. Miami ranks fifth nationwide with 148% growth, alongside Phoenix (+165.7%) and Las Vegas (+161.0%), both of which round out the Top 5. Across Florida, momentum is equally strong. Jacksonville’s luxury prices climbed 116.6% to reach $1.49 million, Orlando posted 137.2% growth — now the No. 6 fastest rate in the country — Tampa followed with 122% growth to secure the No. 9 national ranking, and Fort Lauderdale reached $2.05 million after rising nearly 117.5% over the past decade. Rendering of Vanderbilt West Palm Beach These gains stand in contrast to the country’s legacy luxury hubs, where growth has stalled. Nowhere is this clearer than in New York, which recorded just 15.4% luxury price growth — the slowest increase among all major metros studied. Even as California remains the most expensive luxury market in absolute terms, led by San Francisco at $6.44 million, the growth lies overwhelmingly in the Sun Belt, where tax advantages, climate, migration patterns, and new development pipelines continue to expand demand.

  • Vision emerges to turn Flagler Drive into people-first corridor

West Palm Beach’s downtown waterfront is at a turning point, with a new city report calling for major changes that would make the shoreline more welcoming, connected, and actively programmed throughout the year. After more than a year of community engagement and urban-planning analysis, consultants say the city’s signature asset is underperforming — and that unlocking its potential starts with rethinking both management and design. One of the boldest recommendations is to reduce Flagler Drive from four lanes to two, opening space for wider sidewalks, dedicated bike lanes, and an expanded promenade that finally stitches the waterfront back to the downtown core. Planners described the current roadway as a barrier more than a connector, with too much space devoted to cars and too little dedicated to people. The draft downtown master plan presented earlier this fall echoed that view, suggesting that a narrower, more walkable Flagler could fundamentally reshape how residents and visitors experience the shoreline. Perkins+Will’s 2017 “Adapt to Thrive” Proposal Beyond mobility, the report highlights a series of comfort and access issues that keep people from spending time along the water. Shade is scarce, seating is limited, nighttime lighting feels insufficient, and wayfinding is confusing. Families shared concerns about walking the area after dark, and visitors noted how difficult it can be to navigate between parking, paths, and the water. Consultants also found that people naturally cluster in the few shaded, well-designed pockets — leaving wide stretches of the waterfront consistently underused. The report outlines strategies to shift that dynamic, including more tree canopy, upgraded restrooms, clearer pedestrian routes, and the introduction of small-scale, everyday activities that balance the large events the area is known for. From fitness sessions on the lawn to casual pop-ups, the goal is to introduce rhythm and life to the waterfront on days when no major festival is taking place. Many residents also voiced support for features that would let them interact more directly with the water, including softer landscape edges, kayak access, floating elements, and ecological enhancements like mangroves or planted shoreline sections. A recurring theme across the findings is leadership. Oversight of the waterfront is currently scattered among multiple departments, leaving no single entity responsible for operations, programming, maintenance, or long-term strategy. Consultants urged the city to appoint a dedicated administrator — a full-time steward focused solely on the success of the space. Mayor Keith James agreed to explore what he called a “waterfront quarterback,” someone who would oversee the area day in and day out and help coordinate efforts as improvements unfold. Thousands of residents participated in the study, which follows the city’s earlier, abandoned effort to explore a marina expansion in 2023. This time, consultants said the community made it clear: the priority is not adding docks, but improving the everyday experience for the people who live, work, and visit downtown. As commissioners review the final recommendations, there is cautious optimism that a more cohesive, more comfortable, and more active waterfront is within reach — one that reflects both the city’s growth and the community’s vision for what this shoreline can become.

Each venue channels the land, sea, and cultural rhythms of the Emerald Coast. Image of Siari Riviera Nayarit, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Wellness at Siari is shaped by Há Yeka, a 28,000-square-foot sanctuary inspired by the Wixárika word for “water” and “well-being.” Rooted in indigenous healing practices, the program integrates Huichol traditions, hydrotherapy, volcanic stone rituals, and botanicals sourced from nearby landscapes. Guests begin their journey with a symbolic purification ritual through rosewater and receive a xukuri—an herb-filled gourd that marks their transition into Siari’s world of stillness and renewal. Adventure spans from jungle hikes to private yacht excursions through Nauka’s deep-water marina. Younger guests explore The Wild Kinship Center, and golfers gain access to a private Tom Fazio-designed championship course carved into the coastline. • Europe’s celebrated La Salière opens its first U.S. location in downtown Naples

From Monte-Carlo to Naples, one of Europe’s most celebrated Italian restaurants, La Salière , has arrived on Florida’s Gulf Coast—known for its refined simplicity, handmade pastas, and a warm, convivial spirit that has drawn locals and international guests alike. Its first U.S. location in Naples brings that same heritage and authenticity stateside, establishing a new destination for fine Italian dining in Southwest Florida. Rooted in a family culinary legacy dating back to 1720 with La Sibilla restaurant in Tivoli, La Salière’s story is as much about craftsmanship as it is about connection. The restaurant’s name pays homage to Benvenuto Cellini’s renowned salt cellar, “La Salière,” a Renaissance masterpiece symbolizing the balance between Earth and Sea—an idea reflected in both its menu and design. The olive tree in its logo, representing peace and Mediterranean roots, captures the spirit of gathering and timeless hospitality that defines the brand. Thoughtfully guided by the signature recipes and culinary philosophy of Executive Chef Sabato Toscano, who has shaped the Monte-Carlo kitchen for nearly 30 years and continues to inspire the restaurant’s timeless offerings—blending traditional Italian techniques with the freshness of Florida’s coastal ingredients. “Every dish honors the flavors of Italy while embracing the vibrancy of the Gulf,” said Toscano. “It’s a true meeting of Mediterranean inspiration and Naples’ own culinary rhythm.” The 2,600-square-foot space captures the ambiance of an Italian villa by the sea, with cascading bougainvillea framing its entrance and interiors filled with soft drapes, candlelight, and lush greenery. White tables, deep blue banquettes, and a striking tiled bar lined with velvet high chairs set a relaxed yet elegant tone, while string lights and lanterns add a touch of Riviera romance. La Salière’s menu emphasizes tradition and togetherness, inviting guests to share handmade pastas, wood-fired pinsa romana , vibrant salads, and classic entrées. Signature dishes include Polpette, Cuore di Carciofo, Polipo alla Griglia, Maltagliati Veal Ragù, Ossobuco alla Milanese, Fiorentina alla Toscana, and Branzino al Sale—paired with an extensive Italian wine list and cocktails inspired by the Mediterranean coast. True to its heritage, La Salière Naples is designed not just as a restaurant, but as a gathering place—where long dinners unfold naturally, and every meal feels like a return to the Riviera. La Salière is located at 360 12th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102. Dinner is served Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to midnight (happy hour 3–4:45 PM) and Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to midnight, with weekend brunch available from 11 AM to 3 PM. • Bentley Residences Miami completes the largest residential foundation pour in America

Bentley Residences Miami just delivered one of the biggest construction feats in U.S. residential development, completing a record-setting foundation pour that officially sets the stage for the world’s first Bentley-branded tower to rise on Sunny Isles Beach. In a continuous 36-hour push, Dezer Development, Bentley Motors, and Coastal Construction coordinated 2,100 truckloads, 20,000 cubic yards of concrete, 2,400 tons of reinforcing steel, and 10 pumping stations — establishing the largest residential construction pour in Florida and the second largest of its kind in the nation. The moment marks far more than a technical milestone. With the mat foundation now complete at 18401 Collins Avenue, the 716-foot tower is officially positioned to move vertical, advancing a project that blends Sieger Suarez architecture with Bentley’s design language and a level of craftsmanship typically reserved for the brand’s automobiles. Each of the 216 homes will carry that DNA forward — from expansive indoor-outdoor living spaces to private heated pools, summer kitchens, and sweeping ocean and Intracoastal views. At the center of it all is the patented Dezervator, the signature automobile elevator that brings both resident and vehicle directly to a private sky garage. Inside, residences continue the same level of precision: Gaggenau appliances, Italian cabinetry, spa-inspired primary suites with saunas and behind-mirror televisions, and select homes with outdoor showers. Bentley’s signature diamond patterning, chrome detailing, and custom touchpoints appear throughout, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to engineering, elegance, and performance — here translated into vertical living. More than 20,000 square feet of amenities will anchor the lifestyle experience, including a private restaurant led by four-time James Beard Award–winning chef Todd English, a whiskey bar, cigar lounge, cinema, spa, oceanfront beauty salon, fitness center, and a landscaped beach club with cabanas and full food-and-beverage service. Bentley Home, in partnership with Luxury Living Group, will introduce custom furnishing concepts designed exclusively for residents. Pricing begins at $5.8 million.
