Fans of chef Clay Conley's famous lunchtime sandwiches at Buccan Palm Beach restaurant will be delighted to know that they will soon be available at a new location in West Palm Beach. The sandwiches are renowned for being overstuffed with freshly prepared meats and condiments and served on house-made long rolls. Conley and his partners at Ember Group are opening a takeout window at Buccan's sister restaurant Grato in Flamingo Park. The delivery-service component of the new location was recently opened, with the full takeout operation set to open by the second week of March.

A recent report from Redfin found that all-cash purchases were most prevalent in Long Island, with 66.5% of home purchases made in cash in July. However, West Palm Beach was a close second at 56.4%, Jacksonville was third with 45.5%, Fort Lauderdale ranked fifth at 43.3% and Orlando was sixth in the country for cash-bought homes at 42.5%.

The City of West Palm Beach has approved a design plan for Currie Park, which the city says will turn the 13.6-acre park into a world-class waterfront park and visitor destination. The park, located at 2400 North Flagler Drive, will include the following future elements: A redesigned playground and a splash pad Improved tennis courts Pickleball courts Fitness equipment, health trails, and a great lawn 5850 sq. ft. single story café Waterfront access, including refurbished docks, boat ramps, and kayak rentals The city said project completion is anticipated in the fall of 2024.
