A new era of all-inclusive arrives in Bali

Paradisus by Meliá has entered Asia with the opening of Paradisus by Meliá Bali in Nusa Dua, introducing the brand’s luxury all-inclusive model to Indonesia’s southern coast. The debut marks a regional expansion for the portfolio under Meliá Hotels International, which first entered Bali more than four decades ago.

Set within one of Nusa Dua’s established beachfront enclaves, the resort spans 492 suites, including seven private garden villas positioned for added privacy. The villa collection includes five one-bedroom and two two-bedroom residences, each equipped with a private pool, outdoor dining area, and open-air shower. Villa guests also receive elevated amenities and a private sunset catamaran cruise with an offshore dining experience.

The all-inclusive structure covers accommodation, dining across all restaurants, daily poolside snacks, 24-hour room service, and a minibar replenished daily with select beverages. A range of premium alcoholic drinks are also available throughout the resort at a discounted rate. Guests staying on an all-inclusive basis also access the brand’s Destination Inclusive® program, which integrates cultural experiences both on and beyond the resort. Offerings include performances at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre, including the Devan Show highlighting Indonesian dance and music traditions, as well as curated visits to villages such as Belulang near Mount Batukaru focused on cultural and spiritual engagement. Daily in-house programming includes Lontar writing, traditional Balinese dance, Janur weaving, kite making, and agricultural activities for younger guests.

Accommodation concepts are structured around differentiated travel styles. The Reserve operates as an adults-only (16+) enclave with dedicated suites, private beach and pool areas, personalized arrival and departure services, and exclusive dining. Family Concierge offers upgraded family suites, exclusive beach access, a dedicated check-in lounge with children’s play area, and tailored programming. A Teens Club serves guests aged 13–18, while the Aquazone water park, sports courts, and karaoke room expand multigenerational amenities.

Wellness is integrated throughout the resort’s daily programming, drawing from movement, meditation, and outdoor activity rather than a single spa-led focus. Guests have access to yoga, breathwork, meditation, and sound bath sessions, alongside complimentary use of tennis, futsal, padel, and basketball courts. The 24-hour fitness center includes personal training, and additional facilities include a golf simulator and non-motorized water sports such as paddleboarding, surfing, and kayaking. The YHI Spa anchors the offering with 12 treatment rooms set within landscaped gardens, alongside a circuit pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and relaxation areas.

Dining spans eight restaurants, three bars, and a coffee shop. Malva serves local and international cuisine throughout the day, while Peseta references Spanish culinary traditions with tapas and regional wines. Kanna Beach Restaurant presents South American influences and seafood in a beachfront setting. Additional venues include Samira for Middle Eastern cuisine, Tokimeku for Japanese specialties including sushi and robatayaki, and ARUM for a variety of Asian cuisines accompanied by daily Balinese performances. Sante is reserved exclusively for The Reserve guests, while The Shack provides casual poolside fare. Cocktail venues include The Ginger Bar, The Mixton Bar, and The Deck Beach Bar.

Beyond leisure programming, the property includes a grand ballroom suited for destination weddings and large-scale events, as well as eight meeting rooms supported by one of the largest LED screens in the Nusa Dua area.

With this opening, Paradisus by Meliá expands beyond its established presence in the Caribbean, Mexico, Spain, and the Pacific, positioning Bali as its first address in Asia.
