Aman is expanding in Mexico with the opening of Amanvari, a beachfront retreat on the East Cape of the Baja Peninsula.

The resort will be part of Costa Palmas, a 1,000-acre private beachfront resort community 45 minutes from Los Cabos airport and right outside of La Ribera, featuring the Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos, a Robert Trent Jones II-designed golf course, 18 acres of orchards and farms, plus an exclusive beach and yacht club. The East Cape is known for its natural landscapes, with desert terrain meeting the waters of the Sea of Cortez, offering opportunities for outdoor exploration and water activities.

Amanvari will include 20 stilted bi-level pavilions and 24 residence villas, each designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, private pools, and outdoor terraces. Both the hotel and residences will be designed by architects Heah & Co. and developed by Los Angeles-based real estate firm Irongate. The resort's layout will emphasize open spaces and a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor areas, allowing guests to experience the surrounding environment. The pavilions and villas will be positioned to provide privacy while maintaining views of the coastline and mountains.

Dining options will feature locally sourced ingredients and a menu inspired by regional flavors. A beach club, spa, and wellness center will be available to guests, along with access to Costa Palmas’ recreational facilities.

The Sea of Cortez offers snorkeling, diving, and boating experiences, while the nearby Sierra de la Laguna mountains provide hiking trails and nature excursions. Amanvari’s location within Costa Palmas positions it as a retreat for travelers looking to explore the East Cape while staying within a private resort setting.
