Chrome is officially coming to Wynwood—and it’s landing at one of the neighborhood’s most design-driven new addresses.

Amara Wynwood has signed the first-ever location of Chrome, a new café and lounge concept built to evolve from morning coffee bar to intimate evening hangout. The 1,621-square-foot space will anchor the building’s ground-floor retail, bringing a day-to-night social destination to 45 NE 27th Street. Construction is expected to begin soon, with an anticipated opening in summer 2026.

Developed by PGIM Real Estate and Fifield Companies, Amara Wynwood delivers 210 studio, one-, and two-bedroom residences alongside wellness-focused amenities and more than 11,000 square feet of street-level retail. Chrome joins BODY Hot Pilates as part of a growing mix designed to support everyday life while adding new energy to Wynwood’s streetscape.

By day, Chrome will serve thoughtfully sourced espresso, brewed coffee, and light bites. As evening arrives, the space will shift into a moody lounge offering wine, sake, beer, and omakase-style selections later in the week. Raw materials, black leather accents, and a post-modern interior set the tone, while DJs and artist-led activations tie the concept directly to Wynwood’s creative pulse—intentionally intimate rather than oversized.

With a 96 Walk Score and immediate access to murals, galleries, boutiques, and dining, Amara sits at the front door of Wynwood, with quick connections to Downtown, the Design District, Midtown, Miami Beach, and Miami International Airport. Chrome’s arrival reinforces Amara’s retail strategy: building an ecosystem of places residents and neighbors can return to at every hour of the day.
