Eight new resorts coming to AMAALA, a wellness haven on the Red Sea

Nestled along Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast within the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Nature Reserve, AMAALA is a visionary luxury destination developed by Red Sea Global. Spanning over 4,000 square kilometers, AMAALA is designed to harmonize holistic wellness, luxury, and sustainability.

The first phase, centered on the Triple Bay development, is set to debut in 2025 with eight resorts offering approximately 1,400 hotel rooms. Upon full completion, AMAALA will encompass over 4,000 hotel keys across 30 hotels, alongside 1,200 residential villas, condos, and estate homes.  AMAALA will operate entirely on renewable energy, aiming for a zero-carbon footprint to showcase the commitment of preserving and regenerating the surrounding ecosystems for generations to come.

Rosewood AMAALA

Designed by ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, Rosewood AMAALA offers 110 rooms and suites, along with 25 branded residences. The resort emphasizes wellness and environmental integration, featuring specially designed nesting sites for endangered Hawksbill and Green Turtles. Man-made rock pools allow guests to enjoy the waters without disturbing the surrounding coral reefs. Dining options include multiple venues focusing on wellness-oriented cuisine. Amenities encompass a world-class Asaya Spa, Rosewood Explorer’s Club for child-friendly experiences, fitness center, and curated wellness programs, all powered by renewable energy sources.

Six Senses AMAALA

Six Senses AMAALA, comprises 64 rooms, 6 suites, 30 villas, and 25 branded residences. Designed by U+A with interiors by Studio Carter, the resort draws inspiration from traditional coastal villages, seamlessly blending with the natural topography. Six Senses AMAALA will offer a wellness experience centered around renewal and longevity, with facilities such a cryotherapy chamber, thermal suites, vitality pools, and a Watsu pool, alongside spaces for yoga, sound therapy, and relaxation. Dining follows the “Eat With Six Senses” philosophy—fresh, sustainable, and locally inspired—serving Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes, Southeast Asian cuisine, and artisan-made ice cream, juices, and fermented items.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA

Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA, designed by U+A, will introduce 220 accommodations, including spacious villas with private pools and a collection of 26 exclusive branded residences. The property will include six restaurants and lounges offering a variety of global cuisines, including Mediterranean-inspired menus and Southeast Asian barbecue. The resort’s wellness facilities will feature a Water Garden, Cascade Garden, and Wellness Garden, while offering therapies such as cryotherapy, halotherapy, and advanced skin treatments. Active guests can explore nearby coastal and mountain trails, enjoy horseback riding, or work with personalized fitness programs developed with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak. The destination will also include a 27-hole golf course by the sea, spaces for events, and programs designed for families and children.

The Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA

Designed by Foster + Partners, The Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA will feature 391 guest rooms, with 80 percent facing the Red Sea and the remainder offering views of the mountains or Marina Village. Positioned at the northern tip of Triple Bay, this will be the largest resort within AMAALA’s first phase and will draw inspiration from the coastal architecture of nearby Al Wajh. Guests can expect multiple dining venues, including elevated sunset-facing restaurants, as well as a wide array of wellness and leisure options—from a signature spa and adult-only pool to family-friendly spaces, outdoor fitness activities, and access to a swimmable coastline. Large-scale event facilities will also cater to gatherings of up to 1,500 guests, making it a destination for both relaxation and celebration.

Equinox Resort AMAALA

Equinox Resort AMAALA, designed by Foster + Partners, will bring the brand’s signature high-performance lifestyle to the shores of Triple Bay with 128 guest rooms and suites tailored around movement, nutrition, and recovery. The resort will integrate wellness, sport, and adventure into its daily rhythm, offering guests access to a Beach Club, acclaimed spa, rooftop magnesium salt pool, and the signature Equinox Fitness Club. Culinary experiences will span several concept-driven restaurants, reflecting a focus on both health and sustainability. Equinox AMAALA is set to redefine wellness travel for those who seek both peak performance and deep restoration.

Clinique La Prairie Health Resort

Clinique La Prairie Health Resort AMAALA, designed by John Heah, will bring its science-based approach to longevity and wellness to the Red Sea, offering 52 rooms and suites along with 13 private villas. Rooted in the brand’s four pillars—medical care, nutrition, movement, and wellbeing—the resort will center around a Longevity Plaza that connects guests to purpose-built spaces designed for transformation. Combining cutting-edge diagnostics, neuroscience, and preventative medicine with personalized wellness itineraries, the experience will address a range of health goals from stress management and immune support to metabolic balance and cellular rejuvenation. Guests will also have access to a cryochamber, hyperbaric suites, IV infusions, and next-generation therapies alongside holistic programming informed by decades of research. Additional amenities include a beach club, educational kitchens, private dining areas, and wellness workshops.

Jayasom Wellness Resort

Jayasom Wellness Resort AMAALA will introduce 153 keys and 24 branded residences. Set within a natural horseshoe-shaped formation, the resort will pair adult-only spaces with family wellness zones, allowing guests of all ages to take part in curated health programs grounded in holistic care, modern medicine, and cultural practices. Approximately 75,000 square feet will be dedicated to fitness, nutrition, spa, physiotherapy, aesthetic beauty, and integrative health. Wellness experiences will be led by licensed medical experts and specialists, offering tailored itineraries supported by mindful dining and cutting-edge treatments. Designed as a sanctuary for transformation and discovery, the resort will feature immersive nature trails, yoga pavilions, meditative labyrinths, and separate spa entries for adults and families.

Nammos Resort AMAALA

Nammos Amaala will offer 110 ocean-view rooms and 20 branded residences overlooking the AMAALA Marina and the Corallium Marine Life Institute. The resort’s amenities will include a Nammos Spa by Dr Burgener Switzerland, Pilates, yoga and dance studios, watersports, excursions, a fully equipped fitness center, and a Turtle Kids Club, catering to both relaxation and family-friendly activities. Guests can enjoy four distinct dining options including, Horizon Bar, Nammos Restaurant, Nalu, and Omnia, where rotating guest chefs introduce an ever-changing international menu. Designed by Foster + Partners with interiors by Lazaro Rosa Violan Studio and Elastic Architects, the property merges traditional Hijazi architecture with Mykonos-inspired elegance, all designed to provide a luxurious and lively atmosphere.

AMAALA ATTRACTIONS 

The Marina Village, designed by Foster + Partners, will serve as a bustling hub with scenic boardwalks, waterfront restaurants, luxurious boutiques, and a vibrant year-round events program. The Corallium Marine Life Institute, also designed by Foster + Partners, functions as an educational and scientific research center dedicated to marine conservation. The AMAALA Yacht Club, crafted by HKS Architects, offers a state-of-the-art facility with exceptional architectural design, providing guests with a ultramodern yachting lifestyle experience. Additionally, AMAALA will feature three nine-hole golf courses and a nine-hole executive par 3 course.
