Equinox Hotels has confirmed plans to enter the Caribbean with Equinox Resort Anguilla Port Nimara, marking the brand’s first resort in the region and its second integrated marina destination globally. The project will anchor Port Nimara, a new waterfront development taking shape on Anguilla’s southwest coast, positioned between the established estates of Cap Juluca and Altamer.

The resort will include 62 guest rooms, alongside 18 oceanfront villas, 18 upland villas, and 35 branded Equinox residences. These accommodations will sit alongside Port Nimara’s 118-berth superyacht marina, which is designated as a port of entry and will allow for on-site customs and immigration clearance for arriving yachts.
Amenities will reflect Equinox Hotels’ performance-led approach to hospitality, with an Equinox Club, an all-day dining concept focused on health-driven cuisine, The Spa by Equinox Hotels, and a curated retail component. Restaurants and bars are expected to line the waterfront promenade, linking the resort to the surrounding development and nearby beaches.

The broader Port Nimara development is being delivered by South West Harbour Inc., a joint venture between SF Investments Ltd., Time Equities Inc., and Antillean Developments Inc. Christie’s International Real Estate is set to support the sales of the branded residences, with marketing expected to begin in early 2026.
Construction of the marina is currently underway and is scheduled to welcome its first vessels in 2027. Equinox Resort Anguilla Port Nimara is expected to open to guests in 2029.
