Faraway Hotels has announced its next chapter with two new openings scheduled for summer 2026. The boutique brand, developed by Blue Flag Capital with Collared Martin Hospitality and Bain Capital Real Estate, will expand beyond Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard for the first time, introducing properties in Sag Harbor and Jackson Hole. Both hotel additions will be managed by Collared Martin Hospitality.

In the Hamptons, the team will reimagine the historic Baron’s Cove as Faraway Sag Harbor. The 67-room property is set to take shape as an elegant compound layered with character, evoking the feeling of a place collected over time. Guests will discover intimate gardens, sunlit patios, and poolside spaces designed for quiet moments as well as social gatherings. At the center of the experience will be Zagara, a flagship restaurant inspired by Amalfi coastal living, shifting seamlessly from day to night.
In Wyoming, Faraway will make its first move away from the coast with a project at the base of Teton Village. The historic Snake River Lodge & Spa will be transformed into Faraway Jackson Hole, blending alpine heritage with the brand’s narrative-driven ethos. Plans include new guestrooms and interiors marked by warmth and texture, alongside inviting communal areas. Surehand, a restaurant, lounge, and cocktail club, will anchor the retreat with a mix of conviviality and mountain spirit.
The expansion underscores Faraway’s continued commitment to weaving design and storytelling into every property. For the brand’s founders, Sag Harbor extends the maritime heritage honed in Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, while Jackson Hole introduces a new chapter shaped by alpine adventure and a deep connection to nature. Backed by Blue Flag Capital, Collared Martin Hospitality, and Bain Capital Real Estate, the two projects reflect a shared vision of hospitality that is imaginative, place-rooted, and lasting.
