Four Seasons is officially making a long-anticipated return to Brazil’s luxury landscape, bringing its signature hospitality to Rio de Janeiro in a new beachfront landmark. The project marks the brand’s first property in the country since the conclusion of its São Paulo hotel in 2020.

Anchored in partnership with Catuaí Asset, the forthcoming Four Seasons Hotel Rio de Janeiro at Leblon will rise along Leblon Beach in one of the city’s most coveted neighborhoods. Occupying the tallest building in the area, Four Seasons Hotel Rio de Janeiro at Leblon will offer approximately 120 rooms and suites with sweeping views across the Atlantic. The current tower—known locally as the Marina Palace—will undergo a full transformation, reworking its vintage façade and interiors into a contemporary hospitality landmark while preserving its architectural presence along the shoreline.

The property will include multiple standout dining concepts, including a rooftop bar and pool overlooking the Atlantic, as well as a signature restaurant focused on locally inspired cuisine alongside international classics. Anchoring the experience will be sophisticated spa and wellness facilities and thoughtfully curated beachfront activities designed to immerse guests in the city from sunrise to sunset.
Just 30 minutes from Galeão International Airport, Four Seasons Hotel Rio de Janeiro at Leblon will join the brand’s expanding South American portfolio, alongside Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires, Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá, Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogotá, and the upcoming Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena.
