Gordon Ramsay opens Lucky Cat, a sophisticated Asian restaurant and bar on South Beach, inspired by Tokyo’s 1930s kissas and the bars of Shanghai

This new venue, distinct from Ramsay's Hell’s Kitchen, offers a unique dining experience inspired by the 1930s Tokyo kissas and Shanghai bars, combining a cool, sultry ambiance with a diverse Asian menu.

Opened first in London's Mayfair in 2019, Lucky Cat has now made its way to Miami, featuring signature dishes like bonito fried duck luck bao and Korean spiced black cod, along with Miami-exclusive selections such as Manilla wagyu roll and lamb dumplings with Szechuan pepper.

Ramsay describes Lucky Cat as a reflection of his culinary DNA, shaped by over two decades of exploring Asian cuisine across night markets, street foods, and family kitchens from Hong Kong to Tokyo.

This opening marks Ramsay's continued interest in Miami's burgeoning food scene, which he has admired for its exceptional ingredients, vibrant art, and diverse cultural influences. Located at 119 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, Lucky Cat operates Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 5-11 p.m., and extends its hours until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Reservations can be made through the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants website.
