Kygo is bringing his hospitality brand to Lower Broadway. Palm Tree Club, co-founded by the Norwegian DJ and producer, is officially opening its first-ever Nashville outpost on September 4 atop Eric Church's Chiefs at 200 Broadway.
In partnership with AJ Capital, the development firm behind Pastis, Momotaro, and Hermès in Nashville — it's the fifth Palm Tree Club location, joining Miami, Orlando, Las Vegas, and Kansas City.
"Nashville has been on our whiteboard almost since the beginning of the company, Broadway in particular," said Palm Tree Crew CEO Michael Diaz, describing a mix of longtime locals and the steady flow of travelers the strip has always pulled in.
This space previously housed James Beard-winning Rodney Scott's Whole Hog BBQ, and before that, it was where Morgan Wallen threw a chair off the roof in 2024. Diaz and his team spent six months scouting Nashville, working through every bar on the strip from Tootsie's Orchid Lounge to Kane Brown's, and landed on what they saw as a real gap in the market: nothing built specifically for the VIP, dance-forward crowd Palm Tree Club caters to elsewhere.
The company has moved fast since Kygo and manager Myles Shear started it in 2020. In six years, Palm Tree Crew built four clubs and a hotel, picked up a golf course and a cocktail bar, invested across a portfolio that includes Poppi, Sip Margs, and The Finnish Long Drink, and reached a $215 million valuation backed by WME. The team is also building it's first residential offering in Downtown Miami, Palm Tree Residences Miami. Forbes has framed the whole project as Kygo's bid to build a Gen Z version of Margaritaville.
The Nashville venue is designed for live performances and ticketed events, and Diaz left the door open to concerts, or even a Palm Tree Music Festival, down the line.
