One of London’s most iconic Italian restaurants is officially making its U.S. debut in South Florida. Signor Sassi, the celebrated dining institution that first opened in London’s Knightsbridge neighborhood beside Harrods in 1984, will open its first American location in Hallandale Beach on March 14.

Signor Sassi brings more than four decades of global recognition to the region, following successful locations in London, Dubai, Doha, and across the Middle East. Known for its unmistakable atmosphere, polished service, and classic Italian cuisine, Signor Sassi has long been considered a staple of London’s dining scene, attracting an international clientele that has included Rihanna, the Rolling Stones, Mary J. Blige, and the Foo Fighters.

The Hallandale restaurant is being introduced through a partnership between Victorem Hospitality Group and the UK-based San Carlo Restaurants Group, with the goal of bringing the brand’s signature “Sassi style” to South Florida’s rapidly evolving culinary landscape.
The menu highlights elevated Italian classics alongside contemporary dishes crafted with high-quality ingredients. Signature plates from the London flagship will make the move stateside, including the Mezze Maniche all Carbonara with seasonal truffle, Gamberetti & Calamari Fritti, and a Wagyu Tomahawk served with broccoletti and roasted potatoes.

A robust cocktail program and extensive wine list will accompany the dining experience, featuring drinks like the Sassi Fashion, made with Four Roses bourbon, hazelnut maple syrup, and amaro, alongside the Mercante, a layered blend of Buffalo Trace bourbon, Sazerac Rye, Carpano Antica, Campari, Amaro del Capo, and Luxardo Aperitivo.

Designed by London-based studio Fettle, the restaurant blends Venetian architectural inspiration with South Florida’s Art Deco influences. The 200-seat indoor dining room, along with a 25-seat outdoor terrace, features marble tables, glossy wood paneling, pastel upholstery, and a central bar anchoring the space. A large-scale mural by artist Jessalyn Brooks adds a sculptural focal point to the dining room, reinforcing the restaurant’s design-forward identity.
