Major entertainment hub, Hooky Nashville Yards, plans its fall opening

A major entertainment destination is taking shape in the heart of downtown Nashville as Hooky Nashville Yards gears up to open this fall. The rebranded complex will introduce a 48,000-square-foot entertainment hub featuring a 12-screen luxury dine-in cinema, bowling lanes, arcade games, a bar and restaurant space, and immersive virtual reality experiences.

Hooky Nashville Yards is being developed by Austin-based Hooky Entertainment, a new brand under the Es Vedra Cinemas portfolio. The project was originally announced in 2022 under EVO Entertainment Group, but following a split between EVO’s parent company, Elevate Entertainment Group, and its Austin investor, Marbella Interests, the venture has officially reemerged with a new identity and operator. A similar Hooky concept is set to launch in Hutto, Texas, later this year.

Located at 931 Church Street in the mid-rise office and entertainment building at Nashville Yards, the new venue will sit just steps from the recently opened Pinnacle live music hall and within a building anchored by global talent agency Creative Artists Agency. The project is part of the larger $1 billion, 19-acre Nashville Yards development by Southwest Value Partners and AEG, which continues to transform the downtown corridor into a top-tier dining and entertainment destination.

As anticipation builds for its fall debut, Hooky is actively hiring local managers and preparing to welcome its first Tennessee audience with a fresh, energetic spin on the modern cinema and social experience.
