Downtown Miami is landing a major new dining and wellness duo as Naftali Group pushes its flagship tower deeper into lifestyle-driven territory.

JEM Private Residences at Miami Worldcenter is expanding its ground-floor experience with the addition of ITO•Kaya, a new Japanese concept from the team behind the acclaimed ITO, alongside SunLife Organics, the Malibu-born café known for its health-forward menu. The pairing brings a clear mix of high-end dining and everyday wellness into one of Miami’s fastest-growing districts, reinforcing JEM’s positioning as more than just a residential tower.

“Miami has evolved into a global destination for dining and lifestyle, and we wanted JEM to reflect that in a way that feels natural,” said Danielle Naftali. “We’re curating the right mix by bringing in concepts like ITO•Kaya and SunLife Organics that people can easily enjoy every day.”
ITO•Kaya is being developed by VCR Group in partnership with chefs Masa Ito and Kevin Kim, introducing a more social, high-energy evolution of the original ITO concept. The restaurant will center around shareable Japanese-inspired dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and skewers, alongside cocktails, sake, and Japanese whiskies. Designed as both a neighborhood destination and an extension of the building itself, service will integrate directly into JEM’s amenity deck and private residences.
“ITO•Kaya is a natural evolution of what we’ve built with ITO, bringing a more social, energetic format to the experience while maintaining the same level of quality and attention to detail,” said David Rodolitz, Founder and CEO of VCR Group. “Its location within the walkable Miami Worldcenter creates a unique opportunity to connect with both residents and the broader Miami community in a meaningful way.”
“The menu is designed to be shared, featuring dishes that are bold, balanced, and crafted to enhance the overall dining experience,” added Chef Masa Ito. “It will offer a setting where guests can engage with the food in different ways, whether for a full dining experience or a more casual, spontaneous visit.”

On the wellness side, SunLife Organics brings its signature lineup of organic smoothies, superfood bowls, and nutrient-driven offerings, expanding JEM’s all-day lifestyle programming. The café will serve both residents and visitors, including the building’s pool and amenity spaces, reinforcing a seamless, health-focused daily routine.

“We’re excited to bring SunLife Organics to JEM in Downtown Miami and be part of residents’ everyday experience,” said founder Khalil Rafati. “Miami has become a true hub for wellness, and our focus on quality ingredients and feel-good offerings fits perfectly within the city’s vibrant, health-conscious lifestyle.”

Located in the heart of Miami Worldcenter, JEM is taking shape as a next-generation residential tower built around hospitality, dining, and wellness. The project has already completed its podium level and is now moving vertically, with plans for more than 30,000 square feet of amenities, including resort-style pools, fitness and wellness facilities, and social spaces designed to anchor a connected, experience-driven lifestyle.
