PBIA unveils massive culinary overhaul with many local favorites

Palm Beach International Airport is about to become one of South Florida’s most exciting places to eat.

Over the next two years, PBIA will completely overhaul its dining lineup, replacing every existing restaurant with an entirely new collection of concepts—many of them local favorites. The transformation coincides with the airport’s $141 million expansion of Concourse B, where the first wave of openings is expected by summer 2026.

Instead of the current mix of national chains and legacy spots, travelers will soon be greeted by names that feel unmistakably Palm Beach: Rocco’s Tacos, Grease Burger Bar, Tequesta Brewing Co., Avocado Grill, TooJay’s, Pistache French Bistro, and Havana Restaurant, among others. A new Worth Avenue Marketplace food hall will anchor Concourse B, led by Cholo Soy and Field of Greens, while Plum Market, Bit & Bridle Market, Smoothie Me Please, and multiple Starbucks locations round out the experience.

Concourse C will introduce concepts like Coastal Cask by Bulleit Bourbon, Vino Volo, Pumphouse Coffee, Tropical Smoothie, and more, while the pre-security terminal area will add The Palms Market (featuring Hive Bakery and Oceana Coffee), Avocado Grill, The Turn by PGA Tour, and Dunkin’.

Palm Beach County’s Airports Director Laura Beebe says the goal is to create an experience that reflects the region itself—highlighting beloved local brands, emphasizing fresh and organic ingredients, and giving travelers options that feel meaningful rather than generic.

Construction and openings will roll out in phases, with full completion expected by 2028. When it’s finished, PBIA won’t just be a place to catch a flight—it’ll be a place you arrive early for, whether you’re heading to a boardroom or a beach.
