Wellington is officially landing one of its most significant new mixed-use announcements yet. Related Ross has unveiled Village Landing, a 71-acre walkable village center coming to the heart of Wellington, and the firm's first major South Florida expansion beyond West Palm Beach.

Wellington has long been defined by its world-class equestrian culture and events, and residential character, and now, Village Landing introduces a first-of-its-kind walkable village center where residents can visit, gather, shop, and dine. The project will deliver approximately 220,000 square feet of retail, more than 100,000 square feet of restaurant space, a 180-room hotel, 90,000 square feet of office space, and community outdoor space that will be programmed year-round, creating a centralized destination where daily needs and experiences are integrated in one place.
At the heart of the neighborhood is a series of six interconnected plazas and green spaces, anchored by a main street, a village square, and a lakefront boardwalk. Pedestrian pathways, open green space, and gathering areas are threaded throughout, designed for both everyday moments and larger community programming. The project will also include a suite of infrastructure upgrades, including improved roadways and intersections, strengthening connectivity across the surrounding area.

"Village Landing reflects Related Ross's long-term commitment to Palm Beach County and our continued investment in its communities," said Kevin Ryan, Executive Vice President at Related Ross. "At Related Ross, we focus on creating places that are thoughtfully designed, highly functional, and built for how people live today. Wellington is an important part of that story, and we see an opportunity to craft something designed specifically for Wellington and the Western communities, bringing enhanced connectivity and a more defined center of activity that enriches everyday life."

The retail and dining program represents a first-to-market offering for the western communities of Palm Beach County. Plans call for a curated mix of over 80 shops alongside a diverse dining scene that spans daytime cafés and market concepts to chef-driven restaurants, with many oriented around the lake. The intent is a true neighborhood mix — recognized names alongside local concepts — rather than a generic regional retail center.

"Village Landing will deliver a true neighborhood destination where you can grab coffee in the morning, enjoy a waterfront dinner in the evening, and run your errands in between," said Webber Hudson, Executive Vice President at Related Ross. "We're focused on assembling a retail and restaurant offering that reflects the character of the community, blending recognized names with local concepts that make this place feel genuinely Wellington's own."

Beyond retail and dining, the project will operate as a year-round community gathering place — designed to host farmers markets, holiday festivals, fun runs, pop-ups, and local celebrations, while serving as an everyday space for families to picnic, kids to play, and neighbors to connect.
Wellington has long been defined by its world-class equestrian culture, marquee events, and residential character. Village Landing introduces something the community has not had until now: a true walkable village center where residents can gather, shop, and dine — a centralized destination where daily needs and experiences are integrated in one place rather than spread across the region.

Related Ross brings significant depth to the project. The fully integrated real estate company has more than $10 billion committed to Palm Beach County, with a portfolio spanning mixed-use, Class AA+ lifestyle office, luxury residential, affordable housing, city centers, hotels and hospitality, and public realm projects. The firm's work consistently prioritizes public-private partnerships focused on what communities need most — from attainable housing and healthcare to stronger schools and connected public spaces.
This announcement marks the first milestone for the project ahead of its anticipated groundbreaking this fall, establishing Village Landing as a defining addition to Palm Beach County's broader story and reinforcing Related Ross's continued investment across the region.
