Siari has officially emerged on Mexico’s Emerald Coast as one of the most ambitious new luxury openings in the world—an ultra-private Ritz-Carlton Reserve shaped entirely by nature, culture, and the raw beauty of Riviera Nayarit. Set within the 920-acre enclave of Nauka, the new retreat brings the Reserve portfolio back to Mexico with a rare sense of place that unfolds between Sierra Madre cliffs and the Pacific’s golden shoreline.

Siari is one of only eight Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties in the world. Named for the Uto-Aztecan word meaning “green,” Siari feels discovered rather than constructed, echoing the deep jungle tones and spiritual heritage of the region.

Its 91 cliffside sanctuaries and five-bedroom Presidential Estate were designed by Bernardi + Peschard Arquitectura to dissolve into their surroundings through native stone, open-air layouts, and artisanal details grounded in Nayarit tradition. An additional 34 private residences extend the experience along 4.3 miles of coastline, including one of the region’s largest swimmable beaches.

Culinary programming is led by acclaimed Mexican chef David Castro Hussong, who anchors five distinct concepts—from refined Nayarit coastal cuisine at Zula to wood-fired cooking at Masa Madre and a patisserie in collaboration with chef Maribel Aldaco. Each venue channels the land, sea, and cultural rhythms of the Emerald Coast.

Wellness at Siari is shaped by Há Yeka, a 28,000-square-foot sanctuary inspired by the Wixárika word for “water” and “well-being.” Rooted in indigenous healing practices, the program integrates Huichol traditions, hydrotherapy, volcanic stone rituals, and botanicals sourced from nearby landscapes. Guests begin their journey with a symbolic purification ritual through rosewater and receive a xukuri—an herb-filled gourd that marks their transition into Siari’s world of stillness and renewal.

Adventure spans from jungle hikes to private yacht excursions through Nauka’s deep-water marina. Younger guests explore The Wild Kinship Center, and golfers gain access to a private Tom Fazio-designed championship course carved into the coastline. Seamless arrival is built in: the property offers two helipads, a deep-slip marina, and private FBO access for jet and helicopter arrivals.

The resort is 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport and 35 minutes from Tepic International Airport, with United Airlines launching Saturday nonstop service from Houston to Tepic in December 2025.

Joining the global Ritz-Carlton Reserve collection—including Dorado Beach, Mandapa, Zadún, Nujuma, and others—Siari represents the brand’s continued push into the world’s most extraordinary, culturally immersive destinations.
