Auberge is bringing Steamboat Springs its first true ultra-luxury ski-in, ski-out resort and residences.
Steamboat Springs is entering a new era with the recent unveiling of The Stockman, Auberge Collection, a nine-story slopeside development that will introduce 59 hotel rooms and 95 private residences at the base of Steamboat Resort, with groundbreaking set for 2026 and a planned debut in 2030.

The Stockman marks the destination’s first ultra-luxury, fully serviced residential offering, positioning the mountain town alongside more established high-end alpine markets.

Designed by OZ Architecture with interiors by Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architects, the property blends contemporary mountain design with a refined interpretation of Steamboat’s Western heritage, delivering a full-service experience anchored by ski-in, ski-out access to the resort’s iconic terrain.

Residences will range from one- to five-bedroom homes, including 13 rooftop “Barn” residences with double-height ceilings and panoramic views, while hotel accommodations will feature handcrafted materials and elevated alpine detailing throughout.

The experience is built around Auberge’s signature approach to hospitality, with three distinct culinary venues, a full-service Wellbeing by Auberge spa with thermal bathing, and a curated mix of year-round programming spanning winter ski services and summer outdoor experiences. Additional amenities include ski-butler service, slope-side après-ski spaces, and dedicated gathering areas designed to activate the property beyond peak season.
