The Dynasty, $1 billion sports and entertainment complex, set to break ground soon in Ocoee

A massive new youth sports and entertainment campus is preparing to break ground just west of Orlando. The Dynasty, a $1 billion, 159-acre development from Montierre Development, is set to rise at the southeast corner of Ocoee-Apopka Road and Fullers Cross Road, transforming a previously untouched stretch of Ocoee into one of the largest sports tourism destinations in the region.

Designed by AECOM and MDSX, the ambitious project brings together immersive indoor and outdoor athletic venues, hotels, dining, wellness, and public recreation—all in a walkable, all-in-one environment.

At the heart of the complex is a 150,000-square-foot indoor sports facility with advanced simulation and smart training technology, surrounded by 17 multipurpose turf fields supporting everything from soccer and lacrosse to football and track.

Plans also call for over 1,100 hotel rooms across two properties, along with 350,000 square feet of dining, retail, and entertainment spaces anchored by a pedestrian riverwalk. The campus operates on a “one-cost, one-campus” model aimed at reducing travel and lodging burdens for youth sports families—a growing concern in a sector projected to top $2 trillion globally by 2030.

Beyond its private programming, The Dynasty will serve the broader community with inclusive playgrounds, Miracle League facilities, and public access to sports fields when tournaments are not in session. A new extension of 17th Avenue is also planned as part of major infrastructure upgrades.

Backed by a unanimous land-use and rezoning approval from the City of Ocoee earlier this year, the project is expected to generate over 10,000 construction jobs and 5,000 permanent roles. Construction is now expected to begin shortly, with completion targeted for 2027.
