Tri-Rail is launching a brand new express service from West Palm Beach to Miami, cutting trip time by more than 30 minutes for weekday commuters

Tri-Rail is set to launch a new express service on July 1, significantly reducing travel time between West Palm Beach and downtown Miami. This new express train will provide a seamless, one-seat ride, eliminating the need for passengers to transfer to shuttle trains for MiamiCentral station, according to the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA).

The express service will cut the trip by over 30 minutes, departing from West Palm Beach at 6:30 a.m. and making limited stops at Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, and the Metrorail Transfer Station in Hialeah before arriving at MiamiCentral at 8:05 a.m. The return train will leave MiamiCentral at 5:35 p.m. on weekdays only.
