Velara debuts Costa Rica's first biologically optimized Resort and Residences

Positioned along the remote coastline of Playa Azul in Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, Velara Resort & Residences introduces a new model for wellbeing-focused living. This 17-acre development is located minutes from Marbella Beach and is the only high-rise residential property permitted in the region, offering an unobstructed connection to the ocean and surrounding nature.
Velara is designed with a focus on performance-based wellness and intelligent design. For dining, Velara offers two culinary concepts built around nutritional optimization. Each menu reflects a blend of Costa Rican ingredients and personalized health data, aligning food with functional goals.
The development also includes Marea Beach Club, a private oceanfront retreat with direct access to the Pacific. From cabana wellness sessions to recovery lounges, the beach club connects natural elements with guided experiences curated by Velara’s wellness team.
