Waldorf Astoria is officially going all-inclusive. Hilton announced on October 1 that Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and its sister resort, Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya, now operate as two distinct all-inclusive resorts, the first properties under either brand anywhere in the world to make the switch. On January 10, 2027, the Waldorf will also become an 18-and-over resort, while the Conrad stays open to families with a new adults-only section called the Ceiba Club.
Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya opened in November 2022 with 173 rooms, and from January the resort will be adults-only and all-inclusive, with a personal concierge assigned to every stay, dining across five restaurants and premium drinks poured from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya, open since January 2022 with 349 rooms, made the same all-inclusive switch, remaining family-friendly with eight restaurants and the MYTHOS World kids' club ahead of its 18-and-over Ceiba Club arriving in January.
Both resorts share the same core inclusions: 24-hour in-room dining, a daily minibar refresh and private round-trip airport transfers on eligible direct bookings, with one curated experience or excursion added to stays of four nights or more. Until now, both offered all-inclusive only as a rate option alongside their standard room rates.
The pair sit on the Riviera Maya, the stretch of Quintana Roo's Caribbean coast running south from Cancun toward Tulum, where the all-inclusive resort has long been the dominant format and the package keeps moving upmarket. Park Hyatt Riviera Maya is in the works for the area, and Kimpton and Grand Hyatt have attached their names to all-inclusive properties along the same coast.
The all-inclusive plans took effect on October 1, 2026, and the adults-only changes follow on January 10, 2027. Rates have not yet been published, and existing reservations will be honored as booked.
