On 2,400 acres of piney woods outside Mount Enterprise, a small East Texas town, Wild Spring Dunes, a Tom Doak-designed course, has opened as Michael Keiser Jr.’s first project.

Michael Keiser Jr.’s golf development experience stretches from Oregon’s coastline at Bandon Dunes to the central Wisconsin sands of Sand Valley. Pine country is new ground. Nearly four square miles of it leaves room for residences alongside the courses and brings his development approach to Texas for the first time, within driving distance of both Dallas and Houston.

This first course at Wild Spring Dunes was designed by Tom Doak, with Coore & Crenshaw designing the property’s second course, which is currently under construction.

It caps a busy year for Dream Golf. Rodeo Dunes opened in May, Commons, a Jim Craig-designed golf course and park at Sand Valley, followed in June, and Wild Spring Dunes lands in September, two years after it was first announced in 2024.

The next one is already taking shape on Florida's Panhandle, where Old Shores is the team's follow-up to Bandon Dunes, Sand Valley, Rodeo Dunes and Wild Spring Dunes.
