Official WebsiteWild Spring Dunes is a destination golf community spread across 2,400 acres of rolling, sand-based terrain in the piney woods of East Texas, roughly two and a half hours southeast of Dallas near Nacogdoches. The first Texas project from Dream Golf — the team behind Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley — it is anchored by a championship course from Tom Doak's Renaissance Golf Design that routes across dramatic elevation changes, natural springs, brush-lined carries, and dry gullies, with eleven bridges linking holes across the property and long views over the wooded valley. A walking-first experience offered with caddies, the resort is planned to grow to 36 holes with a second layout by Coore & Crenshaw, a short course, and on-property lodging, cabins, and homesites set among the dunes. Conceived in the minimalist, walkable spirit of its sibling resorts, Wild Spring Dunes places world-class course design at the heart of an emerging Lone Star golf destination.
