World-class PreK-12 school, Wingrove Academy, unveiled in The Palm Beaches

Palm Beach County is set to welcome a new world-class education landmark, Wingrove Academy, a nonprofit PreK–12 independent school opening in Wellington in 2028. Created by ElevateED, a team of international education leaders, and backed by Related Ross, the transformative development aims to deliver world-class academics, vibrant arts, competitive athletics, and holistic student growth on a purpose-built campus designed for the future.

The name “Wingrove” captures the school’s guiding philosophy—“Wing” representing ambition, resilience, and critical exploration, while “Grove” reflects community, sustainability, and rooted values. Together, these principles define a vision of purposeful learning that prepares students to become leaders and changemakers.

Wingrove Academy will open with grades PreK–8 in 2028, followed by its first high school class in 2029. ElevateED founder Karen Yung and President Marianne Rehn are leading the school’s development, bringing global expertise in innovative academics, arts, and athletics. “Wingrove Academy is designed to nurture not only academic excellence but also resilience, adaptability, and global perspective,” Yung said. “Wellington is the perfect setting for this vision.”

Supporting the effort is Related Ross, led by Stephen Ross, whose developments have redefined Palm Beach County’s economic and cultural landscape. “World-class education is essential to sustaining the region’s growth,” Ross noted. “Wingrove Academy will ensure Palm Beach County continues to attract talent, businesses, and culture at the highest level.”

The 45-acre campus, designed by David Manfredi of Elkus Manfredi Architects, will integrate cutting-edge facilities with open green spaces to support a dynamic indoor–outdoor learning experience. Programs will emphasize STEAM, athletics, and the arts while ensuring individualized support for every student. A search led by executive firm RG175 is now underway to identify the school’s founding Head of School.

Wingrove Academy represents more than a school—it’s a statement of Palm Beach County’s future, uniting education, community, and innovation in one of Florida’s fastest-growing regions.
