The resort is led by founder and developer Dave Foran, a former professional rugby player, who created Zamaya as a space for athletes and wellness-minded travelers to engage in structured programming supported by professional coaching. Architectural design of the resort was led by award winning Bali-based Inspiral Architects, while interior spaces were completed by renowned designer Paulina Morán. The resort includes 48 hotel suites, each designed to encourage rest, recovery, and comfort. Wellness-enhancing features are integrated throughout the rooms, aligning with the overall ethos of the resort.

Zamaya offers a wide set of on-property wellness-oriented amenities including a full-service spa and recovery center with cold plunge, infrared sauna, hydrotherapy, and massage rooms; a golf simulator; paddle court; outdoor swimming pool; co-working space; cinema; and seminar space. Dining is nutrition-focused, with meals crafted to align with personal health objectives and supported by in-house chefs and nutritionists.

In addition to its hotel component, Zamaya is introducing 24 three-bedroom villas available for extended stays, ownership, and rental opportunities. These private residences, designed by award-winning Mexican architect Jesús Acosta of Jaque Studio, are fully integrated into the resort’s infrastructure, offering access to all training, recovery, and dining amenities. The villas offer added privacy through individual plunge pools, gardens, and self-contained living spaces.

Zamaya aims to serve as a destination for individuals, couples, and small groups looking to prioritize physical and mental wellbeing. The project reflects a growing trend of performance-based hospitality and will mark one of the first integrated fitness resorts of its kind in the region.
