Zuma is officially bringing its world-famous modern izakaya experience to Vail this winter, marking a massive moment for one of the planet’s most iconic dining brands. Opening December 2025 inside The Sebastian in Vail Village, Zuma Vail becomes the group’s first-ever U.S. alpine destination and its first U.S. opening in more than five years—signaling a major North American comeback.

Set in the heart of one of Colorado’s most legendary ski resorts, Zuma Vail will introduce the brand’s signature energy to the mountains: elevated Japanese cuisine, a world-class bar program, immersive sushi and robata counters, and a dynamic après-ski scene that feels built for Vail’s international crowd.
Designed by the Azumi Group’s internal team, the space leans into a warm winter aesthetic with carved timber screens, Japanese beams filled with glowing amber resin, backlit washi paper, boucle-lined booths, and intimate lowered ceilings—creating a cocooned, glowing atmosphere after a day on the slopes.

The menu brings all the Zuma hits: freshly prepared nigiri and sashimi, marinated black cod in hoba leaf, Chu Toro Maki topped with oscietra caviar, Norwegian king crab with ponzu, and a deep sake and Japanese whisky selection alongside 250 global wines. Two private dining rooms round out the experience for groups looking for exclusivity in the Village.

Zuma Vail opens December 2025 with après starting daily at 4 PM and dinner from 5–10 PM. Guests can join The List here for early reservation access and exclusive updates.
