About the project

Aman Miami Beach pairs an 18-story residential tower by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma with the restored historic Versailles Hotel at 3425 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach's Faena District, developed by OKO Group and Access Industries. The tower rises in a tiered, scalloped form that blends angular lines with soft undulating shapes, drawing on Japanese materials alongside nods to the neighborhood's Art Deco heritage, and holds just 22 Aman-branded residences. The adjacent Versailles Hotel is being preserved and restored to house 56 Aman hotel keys, with interiors by longtime Aman collaborator Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston. Suffolk Construction is building the project, which pairs historic preservation with new ultra-luxury construction on Collins Avenue.
