Developed by Three Rules Capital with Reuben Brothers as part of Esencia, Amantaru sits on a hillside above a secluded stretch of beach on Puerto Rico's southwest coast, bordering a protected nature reserve and wildlife refuge.
Marwan Al-Sayed of MASASTUDIO, in his second collaboration with Aman after Amangiri, is designing the resort and its fully serviced three- to eight-bedroom residences in a language drawn from Puerto Rico's historic forts and coastline, using natural and locally sourced materials and framing views of the sea and sunset. Plans include an Aman Spa and Wellness Center, a Beach Club, racquet courts and several dining venues, with residents and guests able to use Esencia's two championship golf courses, beach, equestrian and field clubs, trails and boating, and a nearby private airport with hangars and a 6,700-foot runway.
