JW Marriott Downtown Phoenix reworks a vacant nineteen-story office tower at the Arizona Center into a 340-key luxury hotel. The conversion keeps the existing building's structure and generous 13-foot floor-to-floor heights, yielding guest rooms that average more than 500 square feet — unusually large for a downtown full-service hotel. A ground-level resort-style pool is set against the Arizona Center's two-acre park-like gardens, alongside a spa, a fitness center, a signature restaurant and additional food and beverage outlets, and outdoor event space. Roughly 15,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space, together with a club lounge, occupies the eighteenth and nineteenth floors, where full-height glazing frames panoramic views across the downtown skyline to the surrounding mountains. The site sits within walking distance of the Phoenix Convention Center, Chase Field, the Arizona State University downtown campus and the Phoenix Biomedical Campus, placing the hotel at the center of the city's densest employment and visitor district.
