Kinara Safari Camp

Kinara, a Luxury Collection Safari Camp is an ultra-luxury tented property elevated above a bend in the Mara River in Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve, on the site of the former Mara Eden Safari Camp. Tents are set among forested slopes and natural rock formations for privacy and close proximity to wildlife, with accommodations ranging from 155-square-meter one-bedroom Tented Suites and a two-bedroom family suite up to a 1,000-square-meter, three-bedroom Signature Villa with a private chef, private safari vehicle, wine cellar, wellness spaces and dedicated butler service. Every suite has its own heated plunge pool and whirlpool bath and opens onto views of the river and surrounding savannah. The camp includes a spa with hydrotherapy, steam and sauna facilities, a fitness space, and two dining venues, the main Asili restaurant and the poolside Under the Acacia, alongside Maasai cultural interactions and conservation education for guests. The property sits along River Road within the reserve, roughly a five- to six-hour drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley or a short flight into the Mara, positioned northwest of nearby Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott safari properties in the region.
